At breakfast we said our last farewells to Robin and Margie. They were driving to Milan this morning. We also said good-bye to Ayana.......as she called out to us from her window. We hadn't realized she was leaving so early today.
It is Tuesday, which is market day in Bogliasco. It is hard to believe, but this is our third Tuesday here and the 'mercato' has become a routine for us. Check out the market stalls and head for a caffe at Bar Centro. We will miss this!
A WALK ALONG THE BOGLIASCO PASSEGGIATA - WONDERFUL SURF TODAY
When we got back for lunch, Valeria had just gotten a basket of apriocots from the gardeners. There is an orchard and a somewhat experimental garden on the hillside in front of Villa Orbiana. They would love to grow more of their own produce.
Lunch was out on the terrace and they had pulled the sun awning out for the first time. We ate with Ivana and Valeria (Foundation) and Joan and Sarah........and were joined by Jackie!
The afternoon was wonderfully relaxing.......more painting than any other time on the trip. We meant to go out for walk, but never made it further than the roof terrace! Wonderfully relaxing!
OUR STUDIO SPACE
We are starting to get ready top pack up our gear and dismantle the studio space. It has been a wonderful asset for our work......quite stimulating and so accessible!
